Terms of Use for the Online Classroom “School” for all e-courses and subscriptions for Catherine Rains, LLC. Last modified 1/2024.

TERMS

  1. By accessing this course, you are agreeing to be bound by these Terms of Use, all applicable laws and regulations, and agree that you are responsible for compliance with any applicable local laws. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using or accessing this site. The materials contained in this course are protected by applicable copyright and trademark law.

  2. Catherine Rains has the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason.


COURSE ACCESS

  1. A “one-time” purchase grants the user rights to only the specific program in which a course was purchased. Access to said program will be indefinitely through the course for as long as the course exists. No additional charges for the specific program and/or course will be levied.

  2. A "Free" course grants the user the ability to participate at no cost and no obligation. There are no guarantees or rights granted to the user when participating in a free course and the access can be removed or rejected at any time. 

  3. A "Donation" offer does not grant the participant any rights to continue access after the event or course is complete. There are no guarantees or rights granted to the user when participating in a donation course and the access can be removed or rejected at any time. The donation is made to Catherine Rains and does not imply a 501c3 donation. Thank you for your generosity as we can continue free and reduced programs.

  4. Catherine Rains reserves the right to "retire" or change any course and/or content from the course(s) without notification or compensation.

  5. There is no guarantee of a time frame for the course's existence, though longevity is Catherine Rains' main objective.


USE LICENSE

  1. Permission is granted on selected paid courses to temporarily download one copy of any downloadable materials on the course’s website for personal, non-commercial transitory viewing only. This is the grant of a license, not a transfer of title, and under this license you may not:

    1. modify or copy the materials;

    2. use the materials for any commercial purpose, or for any public display (commercial or non-commercial);

    3. attempt to decompile or reverse engineer any software contained on Catherine Rains' web site;

    4. remove any copyright or other proprietary notations from the materials; or

Upon terminating your viewing of these materials or upon the termination of this license, you must destroy any downloaded materials in your possession whether in electronic or printed format.

REFUND POLICY

Because of the nature of online education, we do not offer refunds unless stated otherwise on the offer page. The student must make sure they have adequate internet speeds and their computer's compatibility is current. We may offer returns in the following conditions: 

  • If the service has not been performed at all during the term of our contract. 

Notwithstanding other provisions of this Policy, we may refuse to grant returns or refunds if: 

  • You received what you ordered, but simply changed your mind about the service.

  • You were aware or notified of the problems with the service before making the purchase.

  • You did not like your purchase or realized you had no use of it.

  • You received the service/product and failed to make a report within 7 days from the date of the receipt
